Die Casting
Die casting is a metal casting process that is define by forging molten metal under high pressure into a mold. The mold consists of two hardened tool steel dies which have been machined into a shape. To bring the liquid metal (aluminium, magnesium) into the mould you need a plunger tip which push the metal inside a sleeve to the mould. This plunger tip is made very often from high performance copper alloys.

Plunger tips
Copper plunger tips are used in the heart of a die cast machine and is a very important part. Plunger tips are moving fluid aluminium or magnesium into the mould and with a high quality copper alloy you will have the best life-time results.

Alrotec Technology
Alrotec plunger systems are developed to improve the lifetime of standard plunger tip, to save costs, to produce more aluminium/magnesium components in same production period. We have over 20 years experienced and in those year we have developed several types' like ARP, ABS.

Shot Sleeves
For standard and optimized steel sleeves you can send us your demands. If you provide us your casting data, as casting, weight, cycle time, filling ratio and type of lubrication. With this information we are able to calculate and propose you an optimized sleeve design.
